Despite being really busy, we were sat fairly soon and the food came out impressively fast! Our server was so nice (even though the had a HUGE party table he was also waiting on), very kind to us. The food was very good! One of my favorite flavors is lemon, and so I really enjoyed the strong citrus taste of my pasta. The brisket sandwich did not disappoint, came with plenty of meat and the fries were so addictive. Perfect place to come for a date. Also, it's right next to the cinemark so grab dinner and see a movie!
Came here for a retirement party upstairs, buffet style. First of all Hannah's service was outstanding! Had salad, cheese board, BBQ-sliders, salmon, chicken, mac and cheese and was all delicious. Great space upstairs for parties, private and roomy.
Definitely get the ribs. Wonderful. Service was ok. Ambiance was ok. Nice family restaurant.
Taco Tuesday special is a good time to go. Cauliflower taco and Pork Shank are outstanding.
Down to Earth Server After a BAD DAY, Maria and I were looking for an app and a drink. Auston B greeted us. And was able to take us on a little roller coaster of the palate. We have been here a couple of times and were sadly disappointed that the duck fat popcorn is gone. My GF had a nice glass of rose, but I was hankering for a cool bourbon, like the ocean reserve. I chose the hibikki, but it was out until the holidays. Instead Auston suggested the Blue moon instead which was like Peaches On my face. We took the Overboard idea and devoured the platter with no leftovers. Auston almost sold us on some desserts but our bellies were way too full.
Amazing food! Great service and beer selection!! Just a must visit if you're in the area!!
The Oak Barrel was a good location for a family date night. The kids had a great time and enjoyed atmosphere and food. We opted for the Oak Barrel platter and a side of mac & cheese. Food came out quick and the server was on spot. The barbecue was quite delicious and better than I thought. It certainly is enough for two hungry adults.
Classy ambiance with a warm feel. The server was quick at lunch and we were glad of it. The fish n chips were good enough, would recommend.
Family wanted to try somewhere new that abided by dietary restrictions some of us have. Not to mention that they have Taco Tuesday available too. Amy was our server and she was great. Very informative about various questions we had regarding the menu. The menu itself was labeled very well with gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. The tacos were delicious. Very hefty portions of the proteins. I really appreciated the lettuce pieces used in place of tortillas. They just fit, size, holding capacity and wholesome crunch. The burger is a good, classic burger. The chicken and waffles were filling. My brother elected for two chicken pieces so he has leftovers! If anything was a negative, the vegetable sides had A LOT of lemon and or salt. A bit too much this time for mom and dad. The overall ambiance was really fun. Everyone seemed to be having a good time with their respective drinks and entrées. I found myself watching wheel of fortune and could've won big if I was a contestant that show! No matter, all in all, we would come back here. The food is really good. More often than not sourced locally. So supporting local businesses is a good move. I recommend it!
Great attentive service. We had apps dinner and dessert. My new favorite is anything fried in duck fat! We started with duck fat popcorn and pomme frites - again fried in duck fat. It had shaved Parmesan cheese on top with ketchup and herbed mayo. Plenty for four people. I followed this with lettuce wrapped tacos. Being taco Tuesday I was able to mix up my choices. I had one shrimp, one chicken and one carnitas. The shrimp was my favorite but they were all awesome. We followed this with the flourless chocolate cake with four spoons. It was like an awesome slab of fudge! It was drizzled with chocolate and Carmel and pieces of toffee. Very casual atmosphere. Great find with all Locally sourced food.
